After testing and refining a wide range of boat concepts, Darren Abdilla of Malta set out to create a club-winning IOM yacht, drawing on years of hands-on experience, research, and competitive insight.

The IOM Malteser project was born in Malta under the leadership of Darren Abdilla (MLT 25). The first Malteser design was developed by renowned UK designer Mark Dicks and precision-manufactured by MX Components in Thailand, combining international expertise with high-quality craftsmanship.

Building on the success of the original Malteser, the Malteser 2 and Malteser 2X were developed to meet the demands of the latest generation of IOM competition, delivering enhanced performance and refinement.

Today, our flagship international-level IOM design, the Orca, stands as one of the most competitively priced epoxy yachts on the market, without compromising performance. It continues to prove itself against other leading high-end IOM designs worldwide.
